Who this service is for
Best for hot tub owners dealing with foamy water, a spa that won't heat, tripped breakers, or sluggish jets.
Maintenance vs. repair for your spa
Routine spa care - water balancing, drain and cleans, filter attention - keeps a tub healthy. Repairs handle the things that stop working: heaters, jets, pumps, and controls. We help you tell which you need so you're not paying for the wrong visit.
A symptom is a reason to look, not a diagnosis before inspection.
0Typical symptoms we handle
Each symptom points to a different part of the spa. We test before recommending anything.
Spa symptoms and likely causes
- Won't heat - heater element, thermal sensor, or high-limit reset
- Tripped breaker - GFCI fault or a short in the pack
- Foamy water - chemistry, contamination, or a needed drain and clean
- Sluggish or dead jets - circulation or jet pump, air in the system
- Error on the topside panel - control board or sensor code
Why model and serial details matter
Spa parts vary a lot by manufacturer and year. The make, model, and serial number let us check compatibility and arrive with the right approach. A photo of the data plate and a shot of the symptom save a return trip.
Portable hot tubs, inground spas, and swim spas have different equipment - tell us which you have.
2Cold-weather use and safe shutdown
Denver winters make a non-heating spa an urgent problem - water can freeze and crack plumbing. If your tub won't heat in cold weather, let us know so we can prioritize. We don't advise operating unsafe electrical equipment or attempting dangerous repairs yourself; a professional assessment keeps you and the tub safe.
If you'll be away, talk to us about whether a partial drain and winterization makes sense rather than leaving a tub unprotected.
3Spa winter prep - deep clean, drain & reset
Before the cold sets in, a proper spa deep clean gets your tub ready to run cleanly and efficiently all winter. We scrub the shell, drain and vacuum the old water, refill, and reset the chemistry from a clean baseline - so you're not fighting buildup and stale water through the coldest months.
Biofilm cleaning is a separate step. If the plumbing has accumulated biofilm, clearing it properly requires an extra stop and carries an additional charge - we'll tell you upfront if your tub needs it rather than bundling it in without asking.
Spa winter prep includes
- Full shell scrub and re-scrub
- Drain and vacuum of old water
- Refill with fresh water
- Chemistry reset from a clean baseline
- Biofilm cleaning (extra stop and charge, only when needed)
Full diagnostics
We handle all forms of diagnostics on hot tubs - heating, jets, circulation, filtration, controls, and leaks. Whatever your spa is doing (or not doing), we can track down the cause rather than guess at parts.
5How leak detection works
Leak detection is billed by the hour, and most spa leaks can be found within that first hour. If your tub's situation looks like it will take longer than that to pin down, we'll tell you up front before we keep going - no surprise charges and no open-ended time on the clock.
6Before a hot tub visit, share
- Tub type - portable hot tub, inground spa, or swim spa
- Make, model, and serial number from the data plate if you can find it
- The symptom and when it started
- A photo of the data plate and any error on the topside panel
